major at Plymouth State University. She is involved in the music department by participating in Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Ensemble, Barbershop Chorus,  University Chorale, and has performed in student recitals as well as the New England Intercollegiate Band.

Serena is involved outside of the music department through her position at Residential Life as a Community Advisor (2015-2018), and she is the treasurer of a campus recognized political organization.
